Taylor Gang/Atlantic recording artist Wiz Khalifa has officially released his highly anticipated album, ROLLING PAPERS 2. The long awaited sequel to 2011 classic, ROLLING PAPERS, arrives today via all music retailers and streaming services.
ROLLING PAPERS 2 – which follows Wiz’s last official album release, 2014’s chart-topping blockbuster, BLACC HOLLYWOOD – includes the already released “420 Freestyle,” “Hopeless Romantic” ft. Swae Lee, “Gin & Drugs” ft. Problem and “Real Rich” ft. Gucci Mane which is also accompanied by a Cole Bennet directed visual. ROLLING PAPERS 2 arrives hot on the heels of the acclaimed mixtape, LAUGH NOW, FLY LATER. The project included the exhilarating single “Letterman,” which was hailed by Vibe as “his most slept on single of the year.”
Last summer saw Wiz unleash “Something New (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign)” marking his first major new release in nearly two years. The track’s accompanying video, directed by Bryan Barber, has proved another smash, having amassed well over 64 million views. Khalifa’s recent run of hits includes the gold certified single, “Pull Up ft Lil Uzi Vert,” the 2x platinum “Sucker For Pain” with Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Logic and Ty Dolla $ign (Feat. X Ambassadors) and the record breaking, 9x platinum “See You Again” ft. Charlie Puth, which went on to top Billboard’s Hot 100 in the US for an incredible 12 weeks. The single also went on to collect numerous honours including “Best Song” at the 2015 Critic’s Choice Awards, “Best Original Song” at the 73rd Golden Globes Award, three GRAMMY Award nominations and two American Music Award nominations.
