Every week, Music News and Liberty Music look at the best new releases from emerging and self-releasing artists.

Twilight Driving - Between the Sheets

Brighton based Indie-Rock outfit Twilight Driving walk the line between modernity and nostalgia with their unique blend of iconic themes such as Americana and flavours of 80s classics. Taking a Bruce Springsteen meets The Killers route with their latest release Between the Sheets, the band reach anthemic status with a swaggering back and forth between guitars and synths and a memorable vocal harmony that’ll leave it rattling in your head all day.

Sara Kendall - See Through

Brooklyn based Sad Pop femme fatale Sara Kendall whets appetites once again in preparation for her forthcoming summer EP. Building on grandeur of past releases, See Through paints a vivid and complex picture through it’s simplicity, with a dark instrumental that drives the timeless vocals forward into the expanse of her mind.

DEVMO - Kylie Jenner

Fierce and refreshing lyricism is to be expected from Santa Monica based rapper DEVMO, but with latest release Kylie Jenner it’s difficult to comprehend how she’s yet to be a household name of female hip hop. After turning heads and catching ears with previous release Hollywood, this release also addresses the complex topic of social awareness by using socialite of the now Kylie Jenner’s name to epitomise the L.A. rat race. With a dense and heady instrumental you see another dimension to DEVMO’s talent with a heavier focus on melody incorporated into her flow.

Anti Up - Pizza

British house music powerhouses Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo forge ahead together as Anti Up. The pair have worked together in the past to great success with 2017’s summer anthem Nothing Better and are set to destroy dancefloors again all summer with Pizza. With a humorous, yet entirely relatable set of lyrics, Pizza sets an infectious groove that’ll get you moving in no time.

WITHOUT - Talking Bout Me

Taking the best parts of R&B and fusing them with elements of Future Bass, WITHOUT stride ahead with their creative growth with Talking Bout Me representing the progression the two duo have made as artists. Linking with British/Irish choral pop singer Empara Mi, the track builds a myriad of different energy and proves that the two years that this track has been in development was worth the wait.
