Lou reveals 'Beaten' video

Growing up in a musical household, Lou started singing at a very young age. As an only child, when her parents separated, Lou found a sanctuary by escaping into herself. She wrote a lot through her teens and, after a life changing moment, decided to share her voice with the world.



Lou is a multi-faceted artist whose musical genre spans the world of Pop, Rock, and Soul.

After releasing her first single “Beaten” in April, Lou shot her music video for the song with up-and-coming director Eva Dolezalova***. The video captures the torment and emotionality of Lou’s lyrics and music, with sweeping, cinematic visuals of desolate beaches. Through these powerful images, we get a glimpse into Lou’s fraught soul. The song was originally written as a poem about abandonment and the ultimate need for self-reliance.
