Sigala has announced the release of his debut album, Brighter Days, due for release on the 21 September 2018.

The producer, artist and DJ, real name Bruce Fielder, launched the Summer of Sigala in Ibiza earlier this week, celebrating the record as well as his forthcoming UK tour dates.

Brighter Days will be released through Ministry Of Sound, featuring his six previous top 10 singles including Came Here For Love with Ella Eyre, Lullaby with Paloma Faith, and Give Me Your Love with John Newman and Nile Rodgers.

“I went away to Belgium in November for a month to this studio in the woods in the middle of nowhere,” Sigala explains of the record. “I think I saw about three people while I was there. I just saw it as an opportunity to experiment.”

“They’re songs that I’m really proud of and I’m really happy they’re able to see the light of day,” he says. “If I’d just kept releasing singles that would have never happened.”

He’ll follow the summer with a UK headline tour across the UK.

Here are those UK dates:

18 October 2018 – O2 Academy, Newcastle
19 October 2018 – O2 Institute, Birmingham
20 October 2018 – Albert Hall, Manchester
21 October 2018 – O2 ABC, Glasgow
25 October 2018 – Electric Brixton, London
