Fueled By Ramen recording group Against The Current have announced a surprise release of two new songs – the pop-rock trio’s first new material in more than two years. “Almost Forgot” and “Strangers Again” are both available now at all digital music retailers and streaming services; the latter track is joined by an official companion video, directed by Emmy Award-winner Kyle Cogan and streaming now at the official Fueled By Ramen YouTube channel.

“Almost Forgot” and “Strangers Again” are the first tastes of Against The Current’s hugely anticipated follow-up to 2016’s acclaimed debut album, In Our Bones, due to arrive everywhere later this year. This surprise for fans comes off of the back of the band announcing that they will once again be coming to the UK to play a flurry of shows this September. The dates start in Dublin on September 15th, and see the Poughkeepsie trio playing nine shows all over the UK before culminating with a show at London’s O2 Forum on September 29.

The band’s full length debut, In Our Bones, was released in 2016 off the back of two EPs (The Gravity EP & Infinity EP) and has earned them an enormous following all over the world. To date, Against The Current’s music has garnered over 52.7 Million streams online and the New York rock groups YouTube boasts over 1.8 Million subscribers, with their videos having been viewed a colossal 290 Million times.

Founded in 2011 by singer Chrissy Costanza, alongside Dan Gow (guitar, vocals) and Will Ferri (drums, keyboards, vocals) the trio has spent much of their time in the last two years either in the studio or on the road, headlining their own “Gravity World Tour” as well as sharing stages with such artists as Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and more.
