After 12-months off the road since their last album (Westway, The Glitter & The Slums), Australian five-piece Sticky Fingers are back. On March 27 they teased a pic on Instagram, almost a year since their last post, with the tagline “Look Who’s Back” to the delight of fans and followed this with a surprise gig on Good Friday at Sydney’s Bad Friday Festival. Now the band have announced a second UK gig in London on Thursday 14 June at O2 Forum Kentish Town, following the first date selling out.

Sticky Fingers played their biggest ever UK tour in in 2016, with dates sold out up and down the country, ahead of the release of their highly anticipated third album, Westway (The Glitter & The Slums), which landed them their first Number 1 record in their homeland, working with their long-term producer Dan Hume. Their critically acclaimed sophomore album Land Of Pleasure (2014), debuted at Number 3 on the ARIA charts and stormed the AIR Independent Album Chart at Number 1, and followed their epic debut full length Caress Your Soul (2013).

Describing their music as a “melting pot” doesn’t do it justice; they’ve got an ocean of sounds and their songs can take the listener through the feeling of riding an enormous wave to chilling out on calm seas – it’s the stuff that summers are made of, Reggae, psych, pop, rock and bourbon. Catch them live this June in London.
