Synonymous with trailblazing music, Camden Assembly’s ethos reflects our passion for pushing forward-thinking music. With the global music scene becoming increasingly diverse, and UK music undergoing a rhythmic renaissance, we’ve embraced providing a refuge for innovative creators.

We’ve had a momentous couple of years, with a truly enviable catalogue that’s included the UK’s new empress IAMDDB, postmodern visionary Dean Blunt’s ‘Babyfather’ project, the irresistible rap duo of AJ Tracey + Dave, South Africa’s Gqom pioneer DJ Lag, the rising Sudan Archives and acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei to name a few. At Camden Assembly, we like to think we have our ears to the ground.

Despite this, we’re not one to forget our roots, having welcomed some of the best breakthrough indie bands to our stage including: Pale Waves, Outerlay, Yonaka, Stereo Honey, Kawala, Hunter and The Bear amongst many more. We pride ourselves on being diverse and covering many genres. To that end we’re really excited to launch our Summer series showcasing new talent we tip for this year across the worlds of jazz, hip hop and soul.

Our upcoming Summer Highlights series reflect the new wave of musicians that we believe will lead the charge in defining their respective genres. From the future jazz of Project Karnak and Emma-Jean Thackray to the gritty sound of Lee Scott and Black Josh, lining up over May/June we are delighted to announce the following:

Project Karnak + Emma-Jean Thackray - Friday 4th May
Keith Charles - Sunday 6th May
Lee Scott + Black Josh - Friday 8th June
Chip Wickham + The Expansions - Wednesday 13th June
