Joining the illustrious Field Day line-up this June is Mancunian rising star IAMDDB. Her unique hybrid of soul, jazz, hip-hop, trap and r&b earned her a well-deserved spot on the BBC's Sound of 2018 list, and her transfixing stage presence promises to be a highlight of Field Day this year. Young Marco also joins the fray along with Moses Sumney, Huw Stephens, Tom Ravenscroft and production wizards Objekt and Batu. Field Day takes place over two days in Brockwell Park this June with one of the most unique line-ups of any event this summer.

One of the Amsterdam underground scene's worst kept secrets, Young Marco and his genre-spanning mix of everything from Middle Eastern disco to industrial-strength techno has made him a formidable selector and the DJ-producer is now poised for Field Day on the Saturday. Also confirmed for the second day is an unmissable B2B from production wizards Objekt and Batu, both renowned for their refreshing approach to techno. Singer-songwriter Moses Sumney is another acclaimed artists joining the burgeoning Field Day line-up, along with BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens and BBC 6Music's Tom Ravenscroft.

Re-expanding to two days, Field Day boasts a line-up of boundary pushing artists for its debut in London’s iconic Brockwell Park. In her only UK performance of 2018, Erykah Badu is set to headline the Friday. The Barn, which launched at Field Day last year, will make a welcome return on the Saturday. Big enough to rival the main stage, the hanger-like construction with state of the art sound and incredible lighting will play host to performances from Four Tet (live), Nils Frahm, Floating Points and more.

Other highlights from the impressive line-up include Thundercat, Moses Sumney, the legend that is Charlotte Gainsbourg, BRIT Award nominated Loyle Carner, an incredible Tony Allen & Jeff Mills collaboration, UK festival exclusives from Cornelius and Fever Ray, plus Princess Nokia, Madlib, Mount Kimbie (live) and Oumou Sangaré.

On this year's unbeatable Friday line-up, Gilles Peterson commented: "Quite exceptional was my immediate reaction to the Friday at Field Day. Seeing Erykah is always a special thing, she’s a major icon and always delivers something extra special. Hailu Mergia is Ethiopian royalty and Tony Allen with Jeff Mills is a collaboration I don’t want to miss. All these alongside the finest of the current British beyonder groups playing on home turf! Let's hope the sun shines”.

Field Day has an unwavering dedication to showcasing world-class artists from all genres. Its exceptional programming has seen the best in upcoming and iconic artists including Aphex Twin, PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and Pixies grace the event’s stages in Victoria Park for 11 years.

2018 will mark an exciting new chapter for Field Day as it works with Lambeth Council to bring its much-loved event to Brockwell Park, with the same musical prowess that has made it one of the UK’s leading, and most unique festivals. This year Field Day has also partnered with some of London’s world leading creative institutions including Goldsmiths, University of London.

Subject to license and planning Field Day will take place in Brockwell Park on 1st and 2nd June 2018. Tickets are on sale now at: fielddayfestivals.com
