Editors today announce a full UK tour for October, culminating in a headline show at London Brixton Academy on 24th October.

Tickets go on sale at 9.00am this Friday. The tour announcement follows three sold out album launch shows at Birmingham Town Hall, Manchester Cathedral and London Clapham Grand to celebrate the forthcoming release of eagerly anticipated album ‘Violence’ (released this Friday on Play It Again Sam). The Autumn tour dates follow a busy summer of live shows for Editors, which sees them support The Cure at their huge BST Hyde Park show on 7th July, play Manchesters Neighbourhood Festival on 27th May and headline the Werchter Classic on 14th July.

‘Violence’ is the sixth album from Editors, and follows 2015’s acclaimed top 5 ‘In Dream’. It is produced by Leo Abrahams (Wild Beasts, Florence & The Machine, Frightened Rabbit) and Editors with additional production from Benjamin John Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend, except ‘Hallelujah (So Low)’ mixed by Alan Moulder.
