Nominated in the categories of Best Male, Best British Artist or Group and Best Pop, Liam will perform at the brand new awards show on Thursday March 1st at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith, which also features sets from Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix.
The Global Awards bring together all Global’s radio stations including Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC to celebrate the biggest stars of music, news & entertainment.
Shortlisted artists include Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Camila Cabello, Andrea Bocelli, Mabel, Stormzy, Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Liam Gallagher. Fans will be able to watch all the action from the star-studded ceremony on global.com, and on Capital TV and Heart TV, on the night.

Liam Payne will also co-host Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp this Monday (February 19th) as the countdown to The Global Awards begins. Some of the world’s hottest artists, including Global Awards nominees, will join Roman Kemp as guest presenters, while Vick Hope is away over the next two weeks.
Fans can still vote for their favourite artists in The Global Awards’ Best Song, Best Group, Best Male, Best Female and Best British Artist or Group categories, which are determined by the public vote. Vote now by downloading the Global Player app and selecting ‘Global Awards’ in the bottom menu or go to global.com. Voting closes this Thursday 22nd February.
