For one night only, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will share a show from their celebrated 2017 world tour on cinema screens worldwide.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ phenomenal tour started in Australia in January 2017, before continuing on to the USA and ending in Europe. Filmed at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena in October 2017, Distant Sky captures an extraordinary and triumphant live concert from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Performing new album Skeleton Tree’s exquisite compositions alongside songs from their essential catalogue, the band’s first shows in 3 years provoked an ecstatic response in fans, critics and band alike, renewing profound and intimate relationships wherever they played:

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ seven-piece touring line-up features Nick Cave(vocals, piano), Warren Ellis (piano, keyboards, violin, tenor guitar), Martyn Casey (bass), Thomas Wydler (drums), Jim Sclavunos (vibraphone, percussion, piano), George Vjestica (guitar) and Larry Mullins (keyboards, piano).

Directed by award winning filmmaker David Barnard, Distant Sky - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live in Copenhagen will be distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, and shown in 500 cinemas worldwide for one night only on 12thApril.
