A holographic Roy Orbison will now play two CONSECUTIVE nights at Hammersmith Apollo due to huge fan demand!

An extra date on April 19th has been added onto the previously announced first of its kind UK hologram tour that features the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer backed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

Danny Betesh, founder and MD Kennedy Street and Promoter “Roy Orbison In Dreams The Hologram UK Tour” said “Tickets for this tour have been box office dynamite, we’ve had to expand the seating options for lots of the venues to accommodate the mounting demand. It’s proof that this much-loved music never went away and we’re really excited this technology has given us the chance to bring it back to the stage. I worked with Roy during the peak of his career and his music has really stood the test of time. It is popular with all generations so it’s immensely exciting to see him back on the stage in such a modern and creative way.”

Appetite for Orbison hasn’t faded away since the artist’s untimely death in 1988, and now 30 years later fans can witness those classic songs such as ‘Pretty Woman’ ‘You Got It’ and ‘I Drove All Night’ performed back on the stage.

Sony Music recently released the album, ‘A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ last November and within just a few weeks of sales the album became a gold selling record and was in the top 10 biggest selling albums of 2017!

Alex Orbison, President Roy Orbison Music said “My Dad was one of the first people to combine rock and roll with orchestral sound so to see the full meal deal of having the big orchestra with my Dad is really a dream set up.”

In Dreams: Roy Orbison in Concert is an enthralling event that will launch in April 2018 in the UK with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Produced by BASE Hologram and directed by Tony winner Eric Schaeffer (Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet) and presented through extraordinary theatrical stagecraft, In Dreams will recreate the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icon through mind-blowing holographic laser imaging as he performs newly recorded never-before-heard digitally remastered arrangements of his classics with live orchestra.

This tour will allow fans old and new to get the chance to experience one of the most iconic and revered figures in the history of music in a spectacular and thrilling new way as Orbison and his trademark three-octave range voice come back to the stage he commanded for decades.
