Schwarz - Cold Sunlight
German artist Schwarz releases the video for 'Cold Sunlight', a cool-futuristic soundtrack for a vintage 80s dance-floor is the missing puzzle piece on the debut EP of SCHWARZ. In the video for the single, the artist can be seen for the first time. Together with col- leagues of various artistic disciplines, he completes the picture of SCHWARZ.
EMIL - These Walls
Making a righteous return into 2018, EMIL has now released her new single titled 'THESE WALLS'. EMIL comes forward with her recognisable blissful vocal, adding an intrinsic edge to a wild display of sub-bass and poignant hip-hop beats. The single flows like a dream, guided by underground trap beat production, featuring RasEye (The Forbes) at the helm of this.
Supadupe Sound - Fallen
Taking elements of dancehall, afrobeats and trappy 808s, London-based collective SUPADUPE SOUND introduce their brand of stripped back tropical R&B with their debut single 'FALLEN'. Premiered on Ace's BBC 1Xtra show and with further radio support from Manny Norte at Capital Xtra, the atmospheric track showcases their skills as producers and songwriters equally, as the deliciously smooth beat is layered with rich instrumentation and a radio friendly infectious chorus hook.
Wood Chips - Heartbeat
Having previously been known to the music world as Slowolf - where he collaborated with the likes of Raekwon, Kimbra and Scruffizer on futuristic electronica - it was a serious, personal, near death experience that made Andreas re-evaluate his life, when Karlo, his son born with Down's Syndrome, became critically ill.
Starting with a simple, electronic drum beat played by his son, 'Heartbeat' takes shape and evolves as slide guitar, gentle finger-plucked acoustic guitar and twinkling xylophone all entwine with Andreas's gorgeous vocal delivery.
