To celebrate the release of their third album Technology on 2nd February, British rock four piece Don Broco will be hitting the road to perform full band acoustic instore sets and meet fans at 6 hmv stores across the UK including London 363 Oxford Street, Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Portsmouth.
Kicking off at hmv 363 Oxford Street on the day of the album’s release, the instores will give fans the opportunity to hear the full band perform tracks from their latest album acoustically and meet them in person just days after the album’s release. Technology finds the band filtering their charismatic 80s pop-infected rock, through far-flung genres of metal, funk and electronics.
It features a string of singles which have seen Don Broco become one of the most intriguing and inventive chameleons in music – playing with genres and producing hilarious videos to boot. The likes of ‘Everybody’, ‘Pretty’, Technology’, ‘Stay Ignorant’ and current single ‘T-Shirt Song’ (premiered by Annie Mac as the Hottest Record In The World on Radio 1) showcase a band unafraid to take huge risks and produce music head and shoulders above their peers.
Rob Damiani, Don Broco frontman: “Technology is a reaction to our last record, Automatic. We wrote that album as a test of our traditional songwriting abilities, but Technology was all about keeping ourselves on our toes. For this record we didn’t set any rules, it just had to feel good.”
