This week we have singles and videos from some of the best upcoming artists in dance, hip-hop and dream pop.
Tropic Harbour – Can’t Pretend
Following on the smooth release of ‘New Life’, Canadian artist Tropic Harbour follows up with dreamy track, ‘Can't Pretend’. Both indulging and lightly atmospheric, Tropic Harbour taps into dreamy vibes with this release. Tune in.
DEVI – Librium
'Librium' follows two releases on Illusiv and a collection of official remixes and bootlegs that have seen DEVI's name emerge as a hotly-tipped one to watch within the dance community. His bootleg of Calvin Harris' smash-hit 'Bounce' rocketed to over 8.5 million streams, turning plenty of heads in the scene and catching the ear of DJs from Tiesto and Oliver Heldens to MK and Chuckie.
Y.A.S – Chasing The Dragon
Y.A.S returns once again but with the effervescent video for Chasing the Dragon, her debut single explores the theme of depression and the obsession of finding happiness.
The song’s music video is an exciting visual experience with rapid camera cuts and captures the slick mood of the single.
Diives - Something To Climb (part I)
North Wales singer/mc/producer and all round creative Diives has dropped his explosive debut mixtape. 'Something To Climb (part I)' is an 8 track offering of remixes and covers including versions of some of this year’s biggest bangers from the likes of Stormzy, Wiley and Giggs. The mixtape showcases Diives flair for combining dark alternative pop melodies with grime instrumentals and hard, angst driven bars.
