Kaiser Chiefs have been announced to perform at the Live At Chelsea Concert Series 2018 in the idyllic grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in West London. The group will headline the venue on Thursday 14th June 2018, as music fans across the capital will for the 4th year turn the grounds into one of the most unique live concert settings.

Over 13 years since their debut single ‘Oh My God’ kickstarted an incredible run of hits for the indie-rock band. the Kaiser Chiefs will take to the stage at the Sir Christopher Wren designed site of the Royal Hospital as one of Britain’s most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts.

Their first album, 2005’s ‘Employment’, catapulted them to a Mercury Prize nomination and three Brit Awards with tracks like ‘Everyday I Love You Less & Less’ and ‘I Predict A Riot’, whilst follow-up ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’ went twice-platinum in the UK alone, bolstered by the success of the near ubiquitous and anthemic single ‘Ruby’.

The band released their sixth studio album ‘Stay Together’ in 2016, adding a more dance-oriented sound to their pallet, rewarding the Kaiser Chiefs with yet another Top 10 UK album, as well as completing a sold-out UK arena tour where they proved they are still one of the most vibrant and energetic live bands in Britain.

Frontman Ricky Wilson, also famed for being a judge for three series of The Voice, said on performing the very special show at the Royal Hospital: “We're very excited to be playing at such an historic venue and hope we get to meet some Chelsea Pensioners”.

Also announced for the Live At Chelsea Concert Series 2018 is singer-songwriter James Blunt, who will perform at the Royal Hospital on Saturday 16th June.

Every year a portion of the ticket sales from the event is donated towards the care of the Chelsea Pensioners, as well as the maintenance of the Grade I listed site which has provided care and comradeship to ex-military personnel since 1682 when it was founded by King Charles II.
