Camila Cabello’s “Havana” is now the longest running female number one single in the UK since Adele’s “Someone Like You” in 2011, it was revealed on Friday as it spent its fifth week at the top of the chart.
Camila joins a very elite number of female artists to have spent 5 weeks or more at number one in the UK singles chart. She joins Adele, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Leona Lewis, Whitney Houston, Duffy, Kylie Minogue, Freda Payne and Doris Day!
Currently, “Havana” sits at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has hit #1 on iTunes in over twenty countries.
The official music video for “Havana” has now racked up over 296,000,000 views on VEVO, after it became the seventh fastest music video in history to hit 100,000,000 views.
Last month, Camila gave a show-stopping performing of “Havana” at the MTV EMAs where she also picked up the award for Best Pop. Just last week, Camila was named as Billboard’s 2017 Breakthrough Artist at their annual Women in Music awards ceremony.
