Spotify is releasing a very special Spotify Singles Christmas playlist featuring an eclectic mix of artists, showcasing new recordings of holiday classics, and originals that are sure to become festive favourites, recorded at Spotify Studios in New York and partner studios in London.
The playlist features exclusive covers of nostalgic seasonal tunes by some of today’s hottest artists. Whether cosying up by the fire to Wyclef Jean’s, “The Christmas Song,” and Demi Lovato’s, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” or hitting the dancefloor at a holiday bash to Miley Cyrus’, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and DMX’s, “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,” the festive playlist will undoubtedly bring out all the good feels this winter.
The covers were created as part of each artist’s participation in Spotify Singles, the music services signature recordings series. Just this year alone, over 150 artists have recorded Spotify Singles and this Fall marked the first in recording holiday-inspired covers.
