Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s biggest music and arts festival, began its 10th anniversary event in typically spectacular style on Friday evening with sensational performances from KAISER CHIEFS, FEIST, KID INK and many more at a packed Central Harbourfront.

The festival, which is known for celebrating the depth and diversity of the international music scene by showcasing world-class acts and the hottest new bands, got off to the best possible start with memorable sets from local acts ANWIYCTI and SHUMKING MANSION, French indie band TOTORRO, Austrian electronic duo HVOB featuring Mumford & Sons guitarist WINSTON MARSHALL, Chengdu rap crew HIGHER BROTHERS 海爾兄弟 and Canadian indie-pop chanteuse FEIST, before headline slots from Californian DJ TOKIMONSTA, LA rapper KID INK and UK indie heroes KAISER CHIEFS.

Tickets, priced from HKD1,050, are still available for Saturday and Sunday at clockenflap.com/tickets or on the door. Among the highlights for the rest of the weekend are techno-punk hellraisers THE PRODIGY, UK grime don STORMZY, record-breaking Fab Four tribute act THE BOOTLEG BEATLES, Korean future R&B sensation DEAN and local indie kings CHOCHUKMO 觸執毛, and UK electronic legends MASSIVE ATTACK, Portland indie survivors THE DANDY WARHOLS, Danish electropop star MØ, psychedelic rock masters POND and Cantopop mavericks SUPPER MOMENT.
