Hard Rock has today announced the return of its annual PINKTOBER Gala presented by Hard Rock Heals. Taking place at The Dorchester, London on Friday 13 October 2017, the star-studded PINKTOBER Gala raises money and awareness for breast cancer charity The Caron Keating Foundation as part of Hard Rock’s month of fundraising for this important cause. Hosted by Gloria Hunniford who lost her daughter to breast cancer, the evening celebrates its 10th year of fundraising, having raised almost one million pounds since 2008.

Guests at the 2017 Hard Rock PINKTOBER Gala will be treated to unbeatable live music performances from Sophie Ellis Bextor who’s sure to delight with floor fillers ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ as well as new music from last year’s studio album ‘Familia’. All-star rock royalty, Best of British starring The Who’s Kenney Jones and rock guitarist Jim Cregan who has performed with huge names including Rod Stewart, will also perform. The evening will be hosted by TV’s very own Richard Madeley with a special fundraising auction hosted by Jeffrey Archer.

This year’s PINKTOBER Gala presented by Hard Rock Heals falls on the same day that Gloria Hunniford receives her OBE from Buckingham Palace. Honoured for her services to cancer charities, notably her own Caron Keating Foundation, Gloria’s work will continue to be celebrated at the evening’s gala as she is joined by friends and family. Gloria is also set to release ‘My Life: Gloria Hunniford’ – the incredible story of her life from Northern Ireland to stardom, out on 19 October 2017.

Gloria Hunniford said, "Every year it’s an honour to partner with Hard Rock and PINKTOBER to create an evening of fundraising, raising awareness and remembrance. The Caron Keating Foundation is a small, family run organisation and it’s amazing the have the support of such a huge company. I’m incredibly proud of the fact that Hard Rock has sustained and supported our foundation for the past ten years. Because The Caron Keating Foundation has minimal expenses, Hard Rock likes the way they know how every penny is being spent - towards the battle against cancer.”

David Pellow, Area Vice President of Cafe Operations, Hard Rock International said, “I am delighted that the PINKTOBER Gala presented by Hard Rock Heals is back for its 10th year. Hard Rock is honoured to be supporting The Caron Keating Foundation once again, coming together for this brilliant and worthwhile cause.”

The world-famous Hard Rock brand is thinking pink in support of the 18th Annual PINKTOBER campaign supported by Hard Rock Heals, a charity initiative which aims to improve lives through the power of music. Proceeds from PINKTOBER will benefit research and awareness-driving efforts for The Caron Keating Foundation.
