To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Belinda Carlisle’s album “Heaven on Earth”, Belinda will be meeting fans and signing copies of her new album “Wilder Shores” as well as copies of the 30th Anniversary edition of “Heaven on Earth” at hmv 363 Oxford Street on Friday 29th September at 6pm.

The Heaven On Earth – 30th Anniversary box set, released by the Demon Music Group, presents the hit-filled album on 4 heavyweight vinyl LPs plus a CD, bringing together the original studio album, the single versions of the 6 hits on the album plus live versions taken from the 1988 Belinda Live! Concert with additional remixes. The CD features the original album, plus three brand new tracks including a new acoustic version of Heaven Is A Place On Earth, new song Why, and a cover of the Carpenters’ classic Superstar.

The new version of Heaven Is A Place On Earth is also featured on Wilder Shores, a new album released on the same date. Wilder Shores features chanting linked into Belinda’s Kundalini Yoga Practice. Describing Wilder Shores Belinda commented “Chanting was one of the tools I used to help me in the early days of my sobriety. It’s a proven science and there is no question that it is a powerful method for dealing with everyday life. It’s not just music on the album, it’s a science that requires an element in the voice called the Naad which is almost a transference of energy. That being said, I am a pop singer and Wilder Shores is still a pop album with the same structure of verse, bridge and chorus as my previous albums but it is done with repetitive chanting.”

The album, Heaven On Earth, went platinum on both sides of the Atlantic, cementing Carlisle's place in the pop firmament, a position she maintains to this day.

Belinda Carlisle will appear at hmv 363 Oxford Street, London - Friday 29th September 6pm
