Hailed as one of the brightest upcoming stars of UK Pop, Dua Lipa last night signed copies of her critically acclaimed debut album Dua Lipa at London’s hmv Westfied for over 100 of her lucky fans. Today, Dua heads to hmv Birmingham Bullring for another exclusive signing.
Released last Friday, the album was co-written by Dua and a various collaborators including Stephen ‘KOZ’ Kozmeniuk (Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj), Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, FKA Twigs), Nineteen85 (Drake, Majid Jordon) and Jon Levine (Drake, Nelly Furtado). Recorded between London, Los Angeles, Toronto and New York, ‘Dua Lipa’ is out now and available on standard and deluxe CD, digitally and on limited edition coloured vinyl.
After a year of huge international tour dates, triumphant hometown shows, millions of single sales and holding multiple spots in the UK singles chart simultaneously, Dua’s debut album release marks a major milestone in an incredible journey for the young Londoner.
