Singer Eve wishes she’d been more dedicated to her namesake sitcom.

The hip hop star released her debut album, Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady, in 1999, and soon became one of rap music’s most popular names thanks to hits like Let Me Blow Ya Mind and Who’s That Girl.

Her fame led to her own TV show, the self titled comedy Eve, which ran from 2003 to 2006. However Eve didn’t fully appreciate what a big deal it was at the time, and admits not committing herself fully to the series is one of her biggest regrets.

“I probably didn’t take my sitcom Eve seriously enough,” she told Britain’s Grazia magazine. “I was the youngest person on set and was clubbing in between being on set and learning my lines. I look back and wish I was more dedicated. But I learned from it.”

Another area of embarrassment is the style she used to rock when she first found fame. As a woman in a male dominated genre Eve made sure she stood out with her over the top outfit choices, including skimpy dresses, short cropped hair in various bright shades and lots of fur.

When the publication asked what she’d like to erase from the Internet she laughed: “Evidence of some of my fashion looks. At the start of my career I wore a lot of everything: the biggest fur, the most make-up, the biggest necklaces. I look back at some of those photos and cringe.”
