New Forest tribal pop quartet Natives have release the video for their brand new single ‘Stop The Rain’, released on July 29 via LAB / The Santi Collective. The video premiered with the Independent, who called it a "slice of euphoric pop" and in under 24 hours clocked-up almost 30,000 views.

‘Stop The Rain’ sees Natives delivering an irresistible new pop sensibility with an enthralling and life-affirming message, and is the second instalment of what’s to come from the collective's forthcoming 20-track concept album. An ambitious and remarkable record, it will be accompanied by a novel, furthering the story around which the album has been constructed.

Having just released their new single ‘Talkabout’ the band have big plans from the future."We called the band Mowbeck after a river in the town we grew up in." says vocalist/keys player Andrew Thomas, who initially formed the band at the end of 2014 along with bassist Phil Clark. "It's an indelible reminder of where we come from, and how far we have to go".

The line up was completed a few months later with the addition of drummer Finn McLean. The first tracks were born out of a dingy rehearsal studio deep in an industrial estate but the band’s strong DIY ethic caught the attention of Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing East Midlands) and earned them regular airplay on BBC local radios all over the country. Previous single 'Do You Feel at Home' was picked up by Huw Stephens - the band's debut play on BBC Radio 1. Mowbeck's rapturous live offering and dark twist on commercial conformity is something you don't want to miss in 2016.
