Sia lands My Little Pony role

Sia has been cast in the upcoming kids movie ‘My Little Pony’ as a character called Songbird Serenade.

‘My Little Pony’ is expected to premiere in November 2017. The movie will also feature the voices of Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth and Michael Pena.

Sia’s Songbird Serenade character will be a pony pop star. The movie is about a threat to Ponyville and the quest to save the town.

‘My Little Pony’ is one of two movies featuring Sia so far in 2017. The other is ‘Charming’ from the makers of Shrek.

Sia also had a real acting role as a bar singer in the 2005 film ‘Piccadilly Jim’.
