Rap legend Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs has apologised to anyone who he may have hurt in the past.
The 46-year-old hip hop mogul took to Instagram on Friday (15Jul16) to tell fans how much he's grown over the years since founding record label Bad Boy Entertainment in 1993, noting nowadays he is less aggressive than he was in previous decades.
"All this week I've really tried to be conscious on how I speak to people," he stated in a moving video posted on the picture-sharing website. "Sometimes I'm very very harsh. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to, you know, get better."
He elaborated: "I was just on a phone call, and I didn’t really like the way it was going down, so I said, 'Let me call you back,' you know? And I think that was the best thing. So I'm feeling like I'm getting better, every day. And all I can do is try. And to anybody out there I've ever talked to you wrong, or like an a**hole, I'm sorry. But I'm a work in progress, and I'm going to get better."
In the caption attached to the video post, Puff Daddy shared another uplifting message, writing: "I think we can all get better! I truly believe people can change and I want to be a shining example of changing for the better!! Add me on snap PUFFDADDY for daily motivation and inspiration!! #LetsGO #teamLOVE".
The optimistic post comes just days after Puff Daddy revealed he will be releasing a music box set to celebrate 20 years of his label Bad Boy Entertainment.
The hip hop superstar will also be reuniting with some of Bad Boy's most iconic acts, including Lil Kim, Mase, and Faith Evans, for 25 concert dates across America in a reunion tour, which kicks off next month (Aug16).
