Louis Tomlinson's ex Briana Jungwirth has slammed the pop star's girlfriend Danielle Campbell by asserting she will "never be my baby son's mother".
Stylist Briana, 24, gave birth to the former couple's child Freddie Reign in January (16), but their situation has taken a nasty turn over the past few weeks after the One Direction singer reportedly filed a family court case against her in a bid to seek joint legal and physical custody of the boy.
With the battle ongoing, Louis has still been able to spend time with his son, and on Wednesday (13Jul16), he and his actress girlfriend Danielle were photographed in Malibu, California, enjoying a beach day together with little Freddie.
In the shots from TMZ.com, which have since been removed, both Louis and Danielle are seen holding the six-month-old as they prepare for an afternoon in the sand.
But after the snaps surfaced, Briana tweeted a thinly veiled response to the photos on Thursday (14Jul16), writing, "You can pretend all you want but you will NEVER be my baby son's mother."
The last time Briana posted to her Twitter account was on 3 July (16), when she wrote a lengthy note discussing her complicated situation with the pop star, telling her more than 38,000 followers she was tired of the "hateful and inappropriate' comments about herself and her son on social media.
Asking people to respect her and her family's right to privacy, Briana wrote, "To all those who feel the need to make disparaging, hateful and inappropriate comments concerning me and my son Freddie - I am sincerely sorry that you all have chosen to focus your time and attention on my life and the life of my son.
"Please stop prying into the private and personal facts of my life and my son's life in order to weave stories and peak public interest.... find it in your hearts to discontinue the overwhelmingly inappropriate comments about me, my family, and most importantly, my son Freddie."
Louis also addressed his desire to shield his son from harm in a statement via his representative, requesting members of the media respect his privacy, so he can provide baby Freddie with "a normal, private and protected childhood", noting the amount of paparazzi attention on the child has reached an "intolerable and completely unjustifiable" peak, prompting security concerns.
He urged the press to back off because he is afraid the spotlight on his personal affairs had infringed upon his visitation time with his son.
