Meghan Trainor: 'I've never voted and I don't have any desire to'

In this week's Billboard cover story featuring Meghan Trainor admits she probably will not be voting this presidential election, the time she met Beyonce, and reveals her boyfriend requirements.

On voting:
"I've never voted and I don't have any desire to."

On the time she met Beyonce:
"She floats. I feel like she doesn't walk," says Trainor. "She told me her daughter likes my music videos. I was like, 'I'm honored!' "

Her boyfriend requirements:
She has since come up with a few ­requirements for any man she'll date: He has to at least pretend to be a fan, he has to have a job, and, perhaps taking a cue from her parents' 20-year age gap, he's probably going to be at least a decade older than she is. "I tried to have a fling with a 29-year-old, and I thought that was old," she says. "And it wasn't. It was very much like a little boy in the brain. So I'm looking [at] 35 and up."
