Steven Adler rejoins Guns N Roses in Cincinnati

Former Guns N Roses drummer Steven Adler was back in the band this week.

Adler was a surprise addition to the GnR line-up in Cincinnati joining his bandmates Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed and Axl Rose for ‘Out Ta Get Me’ and ‘My Michelle’.



Adler performed on the iconic ‘Appetite For Destruction’ but was only on ‘Civil War’ on the 1991 ‘Use Your Illusion II’. He was also the drummer for 1988’s ‘G N’ R Lies’.

Adler was fired from Guns N’ Roses for his drug use in 1990 but reinstated if he stopped taking drugs. That lasted just the one song ‘Civil War’ before he was turfed out again.

The Cincinnati appearance was Adler’s first time back with Guns N’ Roses since his ousting in 1990.
