Former Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil faces up to six months in jail for misdemeanour battery in the wake of an April incident in Las Vegas.

TMZ has issued a new report with details of the charges for the singer’s arrest after pulling a woman to the ground by the hair. To make the situation a little stranger, the woman was approaching Neil’s friend Nicholas Cage for an autograph, and not Neil himself, when the incident occurred.

It all went down at the Aria Hotel on the Las Vegas strip on Thursday, April 7. Cage restrained Neil after the incident and moved him to the outside of the hotel, trying to calm him down although some media reported that they, too, were fighting.

The charges can be added to a long list of incidents that Neil has had with Las Vegas authorities including DUI arrests in 2007 and 2010 and a battery and disorderly conduct charge in March 2011 in an incident with his girlfriend, Alicia Jacobs.

Neil ended his 35 years as lead singer of Motley Crue with their final show on December 31, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
