Victoria Beckham thanked husband David for "inspiring me every day" in a gushing tribute to mark their wedding anniversary.

The 42-year-old former Spice Girls singer and her ex footballer spouse tied the knot on 4 July, 1999. Four children and seventeen years later, and both Victoria and David took to their Instagram pages to post snaps from their wedding day at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

"I feel so loved and truly blessed," Victoria wrote. "My best friend,my love. The kindest man who inspires me every day. Happy Anniversary to the best husband and daddy in the world!! EVER! #HappilyEverAfter @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham X VB."

David was quick to respond, writing on his Instagram: "Wow 17 years ago to this day this happened... I was lucky to meet someone who has the same drive and wanted the same things in life... We have created 4 beautiful children that I couldn't wish for a more loving and caring mummy for them... Happy anniversary I love u (sic)."

Victoria and David are parents to Brooklyn, 17, 13-year-old Romeo, 11-year-old Cruz and four-year-old Harper. Their brood is already showing signs of following in their parents' footsteps, with Brooklyn dabbling in music and photography and Romeo landing modelling campaigns for Burberry among others.

Romeo has also inherited his father's sporting skills, albeit in a different field - tennis. The teenager is already being tipped for big things on the tennis court, with his coach John Johnson recently revealing Victoria and David are hoping he will eventually prove victorious at the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

"David and Victoria want Romeo to end up at Wimbledon, of course," John told Now magazine. "I've been training him for three years now, and he's really taken an interest in it. David and Victoria often watch him play and say they're really proud of how committed he is.

"Romeo has a real talent and is working hard to hone it. He's the same kind of guy as his father, who practiced non-stop with his football."
