Singer Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle have announced they will be proud parents to another baby girl.

The couple, which welcomed its first little girl Alena Rose in 2014, confirmed the pregnancy news back in April (16) and over the weekend, the joke-loving pair played a little social media game with fans, inviting Instagram followers to guess the sex of their unborn child.

On Saturday (25Jun16), Kevin posted a picture of two jars of candy snacks M&Ms, one labelled as 'nuts' and the other 'no nuts', with the bottle tags creating a pun on words alluding to their future baby's gender. And as fans poured in with selections on whether Kevin and Danielle's little one is a boy or a girl, the couple decided to end the guessing game on Monday (27Jun16) by confirming the gender in posts on separate Instagram accounts.

Kevin published a photo montage of his daughter Alena Rose holding a pink balloon which read 'baby girl' on his profile, writing the caption: "We're having a GIRL!!!!!!!!"

And his wife followed suit by posting a fun video filmed at a family get together where their loved ones are playing the 'nuts' or 'no nuts' gender guessing game, and when the 'no nuts' jar was lifted by a relative indicating they were having a little girl, one party attendee yelled in the footage, "It's a girl, I knew it!"

Kevin will be happy as the former Jonas Brothers musician revealed just last month (May16) he had always dreamed of becoming a father to two little ladies.

"I've actually always wanted two girls," he said on U.S. personality Nigel Barker's Gentleman's Code radio show. "I just want a healthy baby, to clarify. I want healthy children, but I've always, like, wanted two kids that were both girls, and my wife was like, 'Why?' I'm like, 'Because I've been around boys so much my entire life that I want to be surrounded by... girls."

"(Plus we are) having the hardest time with boy names!" he remarked.
