Dizzee Rascal was on the Capital London Breakfast show with Dave Berry, George and Lilah yesterday morning. He talked about collaborating with Calvin Harris - and their gym routines..., supporting England at the Euros and his surprise guest appearance at the Capital's Summertime Ball.

DR: Dizzee Rascal
DB: Dave Berry
GS: George Shelley
LP: Lilah Parsons

On collaborating with Calvin Harris in a studio for the first time…
DB: Who’s featuring who?
DR: We opted for a collaboration. Straight, me and him. Which at this point where he is in his life, and career, is a blessing.
LP: Equal partners
DR: Equal partners!
DB: What is he really like to work with?
DR: You know what, good. Its been 7 years, but ‘Dance Wiv Me’ and ‘Holiday’ are the tracks we did together and we never recorded those in a studio together. So this is the first track where we have sat together in the studio.

On Calvin’s gym routine…
GS: He (Calvin Harris) was driving to the gym in his Range Rover by the looks of his snapchat this week. We’ve seen he has been doing leg day. Have you seen this?
DR: Leg day. Everyday is leg day for him. Protein bars, everything.
GS: Do you do leg day?
DR: I do. But I try not to think of it as leg day. I just go to the gym and get told what to do.

Supporting England at the Euros…
DB: Lets talk about about football. You been following the Euros?
DR: Yeah I’ve been watching England. I missed the last game, but obviously I got the results.
DB: Do you want to say anything to the England players ahead of playing Iceland in the next round?
DR: Big up England. If you cant handle Iceland…

On his surprise guest appearance at Capital's Summertime Ball with Vodafone:
LP: So great that you came on as a surprise appearance at the Summertime Ball. How was that for you?
DR: It was really good because I played this new tune that no one’s heard of. I played it to 80,000 people who didn’t know I was there. Playing a song no one knows, was a bit weird, but nice and the crowd went off on one.
