DJ Khaled is planning to share the birth of his first child with the entire world on social media app Snapchat.

The 40-year-old For Free star has become an internet phenomenon due to the popularity of his profile on the social networking service, and fans who tune into his entertaining 'key to success' updates will be exposed to an entirely different type of knowledge the day his as-yet-unborn son is delivered into the world.

"I'm having a boy - my first child," he gushed during an appearance on U.S. late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. "I want to Snapchat the whole birth."

However, when asked about what his pregnant fiancee Nicole Turk thinks about being watched by millions of people while she's in labour, Khaled's response made it clear his opinion on the matter is the only one that counts, noting: "The key is that I'm the king and every queen should support the king."

"Don't ever play yourself. My fans want to see the real deal," he added.

Yesterday (23Jun16) Khaled revealed the cover art for his ninth studio album, Major Key, and in the striking image he is featured sitting on a throne in a lush garden next to a large lion with a full mane. And the rapper-and-producer reveals the concept was deeply personal, as it was inspired by a lot of ideas he values to his core.

"The album cover is 100 per cent... authentic of what I represent, from my spiritual vibes to my beliefs and not just that, a certain energy that I keep around me - positivity but at the same time, as a king," he explained.
