Little Mix star Jesy Nelson fears she's becoming more reclusive as she gets older.

The British pop star, 24, and bandmates Perrie Edwards, 22, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 24, and Jade Thirlwall, 23, are currently taking a well earned break from their world tour.

However, the pop star will not be using the downtime between the final date of the Asian leg on Monday (23May16) and The Get Weird Tour's resumption at London's Wembley Stadium on 11 June (16) to indulge in partying.

Instead Jesy tells Britain's Now magazine she worries her desire to avoid the spotlight means she's turning into a hermit.

"I feel that as I’m getting older I’m becoming a little recluse," Jesy explained. "I love the girls to pieces but because I’m the older one in the group I just feel like I’m turning into an old woman. I love peace and quiet."

The star reveals that during a previous break in the girls' touring schedule after the opening U.K. leg of their tour ended in April (16), she and her fiance, Rixton rocker Jake Roche decided to take a hiking holiday to get away from it all.

"I wanted was to go somewhere no one would find me, so me and Jake found a random little place and got a boat and did lots of hiking and stuff," the Black Magic singer added.

Another reason Jesy may be glad for some time away from the stage is her persistent bad luck with illness and injury throughout 2016.

On Saturday (21May16) she tore a ligament in her ankle while performing a dance routine on stage in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The latest injury comes after Little Mix were forced to postpone two gigs in Belfast, Northern Ireland in March (16) due to Jesy coming down with a mystery illness.

Earlier that month, she performed on stage in Liverpool, England while nursing a wrist injury.
