After Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown confirmed to NME that the band are definitely recording new material for the long-awaited follow-up to 1994's 'Second Coming', Music News can reveal that a new single will be released by the band at 8pm.

Recorded at Church Studios in London and was produced by Paul Epworth and is available now at www.thestoneroses.org



In other news The Stone Roses are very sorry to have to cancel their two proposed concerts at the Budokan. Reni has had an accidental fall and fractured two ribs, his doctor has told him to rest for at least a month. Unfortunately this means that the band are unable to fulfil their planned performances in Japan.

A band statement said:

‘We’re extremely disappointed to be unable to come to Tokyo for Budokan headline shows.
We hope to be able to return to Japan soon’.
