Azealia Banks has turned on a teenage Disney star after she urged the outspoken rapper to "simmer down a little" after taking aim at Zayn Malik on Twitter.

The 212 star's ill-advised racist rant against the former One Direction singer has already cost Azealia a spot at London's Born & Bred Festival, and now she's taking on the might of Disney in a fresh war of words with Jessie actress Skai Jackson.

Responding to the teen's tweet, Banks raged, "you need to grow some hips and start ur (your) menses (period). stay in a child's place."

Jackson wasn't about to back down and defiantly shot back: "When a no hip having 14 year old has more class than you. Worry about your career. Get one," prompting the rapper to reply: "lol (laugh out loud) ur mom's been pimping you out to disney since you were a lil girl. lets see what you end up like at 21. bye."

The fired-up teenage star then turned on Bank's fact finding, stating: "@AZEALIABANKS I had a career before Disney and I'm sure I will after! And I know I won't turn out like you bitter and miserable! Fix ur life... and I'm sure my mom did a wayyy better job then yours did! You give black women a bad name. I'll be praying for you."

Never one to back out of a Twitter war, Banks revealed she had no idea who the young actress was, calling her nothing but "a meme" online. Skai tweeted back to inform the rapper she was "a meme with 2.3 million Instagram followers", adding, "My memes are more relevant than you now that's sad. Now bye Twitter troll."

The feud rumbled on with Banks using inappropriate sexual references to poke fun at the teen, while taking aim at her mother, adding, "You're (sic) stage mom forced you into disney because she failed in her life and you're going to end up... depressed and addicted to drugs... THATS HOW THESE STORIES ALWAYS GO!"

Azealia's Wednesday began when she attacked Zayn Malik and accused him of lifting the concept of her Yung Rapunxel video for his new promo Like I Would. She then misunderstood a tweet he sent out and courted controversy by taking aim at the former One Direction star's Pakistani heritage during a vicious Twitter tirade.

Azealia's fans advised her to cancel her set at the Born & Bred Festival in Hackney for her own safety after making her feelings about Zayn known, prompting defiant Banks to promise them she would be bringing a gun with her for protection.

Hours later, organisers of the festival announced on Twitter they had decided to axe the rapper's appearance.
