Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid made their first red carpet appearance since reconciling on Tuesday night (10May16).
The former Friends star and her Snow Patrol musician fiance called off their engagement in November (15) after 18 months, after reportedly disagreeing about whether to live in the U.K. or remain in the U.S.
They first sparked rumours of a reconciliation in March (16) and have been seen together on numerous occasions since. But their appearance at the BMI Pop Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, is the confirmation many wanted that the pair is back together.
Courteney, 51, looked stunning in a white shift dress as she walked the red carpet arm in arm with her 39-year-old beau, who opted for a smart black suit for the occasion.
After the pair was seen enjoying an Easter outing with Courteney's 11-year-old daughter Coco in March, the actress' representative told UsMagazine.com: "They really care about each other and they are spending time together."
The statement was released not long after Johnny was rumoured to be dating Irish celebrity reporter and blogger Meghann Scully, 23, who lives in Los Angeles. Reports alleged he was smitten with the young journalist after meeting her at the Oscar Wilde Awards in Hollywood in February (16).
"Johnny is very laid back and often found the courtship with Courteney very smothering," a source told Britain's The Sun newspaper. "Now that he's single again, he just wants to have fun and enjoy himself. He feels (he and Meghann) have a lot in common and wants to get to know her better."
However, his publicist promptly shut down the new romance rumours, telling the MailOnline, "Johnny is not dating anyone and hasn't since Courteney Cox."
Courteney and her first husband, David Arquette, divorced in 2013.
