Demi Lovato has defied her cat allergies by adopting a hairless puss.
The animal-loving Skyscraper singer showed off the new addition to her family in a series of posts on social media site Snapchat on Tuesday (26Apr16), sharing the images on Instagram.
"Meet my new baby," she captioned the first snap, as she introduced the ironically-named Hairy-ette.
She then uploaded a series of other images of her new friend, while also revealing Hairy-ette had prompted an allergy flare up.
"As my face is swelling...", Demi wrote beside a picture of her holding the cat up to her face, prompting her to sneeze and tear up in a separate video clip.
"Already in love with each other," she declared in another photo, while defiantly adding, "So allergic it's not even funny but I'm keeping her cause zero f**ks (sic)".
Demi even let Hairy-ette sleep in her bed and she greeted her Snapchat followers hours later by posting a "Good morning" snap of the pair snuggling between the sheets.
The pop star's latest addition to her menagerie of pets arrives four months after she and her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, mourned the death of the actor's pooch Spawn in December (15). It was the second pet loss the couple suffered after another dog, named Buddy, died in a tragic accident last summer (15).
Former That '70s Show star Wilmer gifted the dog to Demi before Christmas in 2014.
Revealing he had passed away, she told fans: "He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong."
