Now that Dolores O'Riordan's legal problems are behind her, it's time to move forward with her career. She has joined up with former Smiths bass player Andy Rourke and New York based DJ Ole Koretsky to form the new band D.A.R.K.

The band actually has its roots a number of years ago between Rourke and Koretsky who met during shows in Washington, DC and began experimenting together. A later meeting between Rourke and O'Riordan led to a conversation on current projects and some of the tracks were sent to Dolores who, on a couple, reworked the arrangements.

Their first album, Science Agrees, actually came from a separate project by Koretsky. The trio used the basics for that set and added new songs, eventually meeting in Ontario, Canada to put final touches on the tracks. Eventually, the release took on an international pedigree as it was developed in New York and Ontario, mixed in California and mastered in London. All three principals produced.

The final product mixes electronica and new wave in a unique blend. It will be released on May 27 via Cooking Vinyl Records and will be available June 3 in the U.S. via Amazon.
