Dr. Luke has denied reports suggesting he has been dropped from Sony Music amid his legal battle with pop star Kesha.

The top producer has been embroiled in a bitter fracas with the Tik Tok star, who was recently denied her bid to terminate her contract with Sony and its subsidiary, Luke's Kemosabe Records, despite accusing the hitmaker of sexual and emotional abuse.

Kesha has garnered support from fans and celebrities alike during her ordeal, including vocal demonstrators who have staged protests outside of Sony's New York headquarters, demanding the singer be released from her contract.

On Wednesday (09Mar16), reports surfaced alleging label chiefs were beginning to succumb to the pressure, suggesting they were preparing to cut ties with Dr. Luke one year before his own contract is set to expire.

However, an attorney for Dr. Luke insists the reports are false, and he is still signed with the top label.

"This is not true," Dr. Luke's lawyer said in a statement. "Luke has an excellent relationship with Sony. His representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony and this has never come up."

Meanwhile, Kesha's fans are planning a new protest outside Sony's headquarters on Friday (11Mar16), when they are expected to deliver four petitions boasting a total of 411,000 signatures, calling on company bosses to grant Kesha's request to leave the label.

Demonstrators are also planning to use a projector to have the social media hashtag #FreeKesha light up the face of the Sony building on Friday evening, according to TheWrap.com.

Sony's lawyer, Scott A. Edelman, previously maintained the firm couldn't give Kesha what she wanted, as executives are "not in a position to terminate" the contract the singer signed with Dr. Luke a decade ago.

"Sony is doing everything it can to support the artist in these circumstances, but is legally unable to terminate the contract to which it is not a party," he added to the New York Times.
