Kanye West reportedly staged four photoshoots for his son Saint West before settling on the tot's first public picture.
The world finally got a look at Kim Kardashian and Kanye's West's baby boy, three-month-old Saint West, last week (ends26Feb16), in a beautiful close-up picture posted by the reality star on Instagram.com.
But behind the scenes, self-proclaimed 'creative director' Kanye apparently took a typically obsessive approach to the reveal, commissioning "four photoshoots, from three top photographers and shooting 1,000 images of his son".
"Kanye considered himself the 'creative director' of the shoot, and wanted to get the perfect shot of Saint," an insider tells Heat Magazine.
He called in fashion heavyweight photographer Nick Knight, director of his video Bound, but the lensmen's photos never made the cut, claims Heat.
Nick Saglimbeni, who has shot many of the Kardashian family's Christmas cards, was also pulled into the project, but Kim and Kanye were apparently still not satisfied.
Selfie queen Kim had the final say, taking the stunning shot of her handsome baby boy posted on Instagram which has now been 'liked' 2.7million times.
On Tuesday (01Mar16) the 35-year-old reality star and her husband shared a picture of themselves with Borat actor Sacha Baron Cohen and his wife Isla Fisher. The couple were treated to a screening of the British star's new film Grimsby.
"About last night - This was the moment right before Sacha showed us the CRAZIEST scene from 'The Brothers Grimbsy' We laughed so hard we cried!" the 35-year-old reality star declared in the caption accompany the group snap.
Also enjoying the movie were Friends' star Courteney Cox, her daughter Coco, 11, Kim's mother Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney Kardashian.
