Madonna and Guy Ritchie are set to square off in court over custody of their teenage son Rocco.

The Material Girl singer and her film director ex have been feuding over the 15-year-old since last year (15), when Rocco went to live in England with his father.

He allegedly refused to return home to Madonna in the U.S. after a Christmas (15) break spent with Guy, stepmother Jacqui Ainsley and his half-siblings, Rafael, Rivka and Levi.

Sources tell TMZ.com all parties are scheduled to appear at a courthouse in Manhattan on Wednesday (02March16), during a break in Madonna's Rebel Heart world tour.

She played a show in Singapore on Sunday (28Feb16) and her next date isn’t until 5 March (16) in New Zealand.

In February (16), the 57-year-old performer took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of Rocco as a baby beaming for the camera as she held him on her back, and captioned the shot: "Tu me manque", which translates as "I miss you".

Earlier in January (16), Madonna used the photosharing site to defend the time she spends away from her kids on tour, telling followers she's a good mother despite frequently being on the road.

"Its (sic) possible to be an entertainer and a good mother!!!" she wrote alongside a photo of herself spending family time backstage with all her kids.

Madonna has yet to comment directly on the custody battle, but she appeared to hint about the issue during her Rebel Heart World Tour in Mexico City.

"We all go through challenging times in our life, and that includes me," she candidly began as she performed the first of two shows at the Palacio de los Deportes venue in January (16). "I, too, go through challenging times in my life, and right now is one of them."

Madonna and Guy, 47, divorced in 2008 after almost eight years of marriage, during which they adopted another son, 10-year-old David Banda. The star is also mum to daughters Lourdes Leon, 19, and Mercy James, 10.
