Actor Ryan Reynolds has spoofed Kanye West's alleged meltdown on Saturday Night Live while dressed as his Marvel character, Deadpool.

The 39-year-old plays the anti-hero in Marvel's latest cinema release, and following its success fans have been campaigning for the character to host the popular late night show.

In a new video on Saturday (20Feb16), Ryan explained to fans why Deadpool would not be able to present SNL by mimicking leaked audio which reportedly featured the Bound 2 rapper.

"Listen up, Lorne Michaels,” he said, addressing the show’s creator. “SNL took my f**king Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I’m bummed. That and Rip Taylor. Fake a**! I’ve got the biggest opening rated-R movie of all time. Are they f**king crazy? I’m 50 percent more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the KIA Sorento. 10 percent more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart. Sixty percent more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese and Dr. Ruth. Seven percent less influential than the Urban Dictionary!”

Ryan/Deadpool's speech echoed the tape which leaked on Thursday (18Feb16), highlighting the 38-year-old's alleged meltdown backstage at the show when he was the musical guest over the weekend (13-14Feb16).

Sources claimed Kanye threatened to walk off the stage during the live broadcast, but he eventually went on as scheduled, and performed two new songs from his T.L.O.P. (The Life of Pablo) album.

In the clip, a man who sounds like Kanye raged, "Look at that s**t. They took my f**king stage off of SNL without asking me... Now I'm bummed. That and Taylor Swift, fake a**."

The voice can also be heard saying he was "50 percent (more influential than) Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f**king Picasso and Escobar" before adding "Don't f**k with me" numerous times, which Deadpool also mimicked in his audio.

Kanye is yet to comment on the leaked audio to confirm or deny if its him.
