Red Hot Chili Peppers and special guests will play a benefit for Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on February 5.

Titled Feel the Bern, all proceeds from the show will go to the Sanders campaign and, as with many shows of this type, the best tickets are a bit steep and meant for the true supporter with first two rows (Red Hot) priced at $2,000, the front orchestra (Feelin’ the Bern) at $1,000 and mid-orchestra at $500. Those with a little less to contribute can get rear orchestra and balcony tickets for $40.

Flea posted the following statement, showing just how serious Sanders is about not taking any corporate or group contributions:

“So excited to be playing this concert for Bernie sanders next week. Feels great to support someone I believe in. The Rhcp offered to give him the money to pay for the theater that night but he wouldn’t accept, he only accepts small donations from individuals. Every other politician greedily grabs every cent they can get from any scumbag lobbyist. This is a man with integrity. If you can please buy the expensive seats to help out the campaign. Thank you so much. Bernie sanders for president.” – FLEA

Last year, RHCP signed an endorsement statement for Sanders, joining a long list of artists including Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, David Crosby, John Densmore (Doors), Bonnie Raitt, Tommy Castro, Steve Earle, Elvin Bishop, Donovan, Marshall Crenshaw, Wayne Kramer (MC5), Jill Sobule, Belinda Carlisle, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Lucinda Williams, Loudon Wainwright III, Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Charlie Musselwhite, Meshell Ndegeocello, Mike Gordon (Phish), Brian Baker (Bad Religion), Jello Biafra, Alejandro Escovedo, Billy Gould (Faith No More), Mike Watt and Dusty Watson (Sonics).
