Ciara won't give her ex-boyfriend Future any of her time because she's in the "best place in her life now", according to an insider.

The 30-year-old singer and her beau Russell Wilson found themselves targeted by Future's fans after the rapper released his new mixtape Purple Reign on Saturday (16Jan16). Future's followers were quick to use the "purple rain" emoji to comment on pictures of Russell and Ciara, but the couple were apparently not bothered at all.

"Ciara and Russell actually thought all of the Purple Reign comments and emojis were funny. It really didn't faze the two of them at all," a source told E! News.

Ciara has a 20-month-old son, also called Future, with her ex. And she is said to be putting all her focus into raising her little boy instead of focusing on her former flame.

"Ciara is in the best place in her life now and has no energy or focus on Future," the insider said. "Her only focus is on baby Future and Russell. She knows fans will be fans and stuff like that is expected."

Despite the public quarrels Ciara and Future have had since their split in August 2014, they have always been about their son. And Ciara won't be holding Future responsible for the spate of emojis on the snaps.

"She has always thought Future was an extremely talented artist," the source added. "She won't knock him ever on his craft because she is way too mature for that."

On Sunday (17Jan16), Ciara watched Russell as he played for his team the Seattle Seahawks against the Carolina Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Seahawks lost after their competitors played Future's songs in rotation, in what fans believe was a bid to throw Russell off his game. But the sportsman was happy with the fact that Ciara and baby Future watched him in action.

"Things with Russell and Ciara are amazing," a different source told the outlet. "It was so cute having baby Future see Russell play football this season. Russell loves baby Future and it means the world to Ciara! Baby Future is a little Seahawks fan in the making!"
