Jennifer Lopez has a busy three years mapped out for her if her new TV drama Shades of Blue is a big hit, as she'll be bouncing around between set and her residency in Las Vegas.

The actress/singer has signed up to perform 40 shows a year at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino over the next three years, and if that wasn't enough the busy Latina has also committed to the new TV drama, which launched in America earlier this month (Jan16).

As well as starring in the cop series, J.Lo is also producing the show.

She tells WENN that scheduling is everything in the coming months.

"I'm kind of working around the schedule," she explains. "I do a few shows now, I do a few shows in May, I do a few shows in July and August, a few shows at the end of the year, and then we do a season two for Shades of Blue.

"We’ll fit that in and we'll work around it. I have a big cast that can help. I can have some days off, and then I'll go to Vegas."

Jennifer is also judging the final season of talent show American Idol, which began with pre-taped auditions last week (ends08Jan16). The show will go live in the spring (16).

And she's also a single mum to twins Max and Emme from her 10-year marriage to Marc Anthony.
