Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly booked several mini breaks in February (16) as a compromise for her reuniting with the Spice Girls.

Popstar-turned-fashion-designer Victoria is expected to join her former bandmates Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell as the girls celebrate the 20th anniversary of their group this summer (16). While Victoria was said to be wary about the shows, it seems the promise of a relaxing break beforehand has helped make the decision easier.

"There are still lots of details to sort out, but Victoria's said she'll perform with the girls," a source told Britain's Closer magazine. "However she (got) stressed (about it) and needed to focus on David and the kids after a stressful 2015 of trying to juggle work and family life, so committing to all the dates would be too much.

"David was the one who helped change her mind about the tour and they came up with a compromise. They've already booked two mini-breaks for next month (Feb16) and are spending much more time alone together so they won't get complacent."

The source adds that tensions between the five women came to a head recently, as Mel B was worried Victoria wouldn't come back to the band. Mel C apparently refused to partake in the tour without Posh Spice, which is what led Victoria to rethink her original refusal.

In 2012 the group put on a special show as part of the London Olympics, after which fashionista Victoria revealed it could be the last time fans would see them together.

"Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour..." she said at the time."That was a perfect time to say: 'That's great. Thank you to everybody but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when to leave the party."
