2013 X Factor winner and platinum album selling music star Sam Bailey is set for a standout 2016. Currently producing new music in Los Angeles, and with a confirmed UK tour set up already, Sam is back and ready to take the music industry by storm once again!
Sam has flown over to Los Angeles this week to work on hotly-anticipated new music with multi-award winning songwriter and producer, Steve Dorff. The legendary music producer, who initially shot to fame writing scores for the likes of Clint Eastwood, has decades of experience working with some of the greatest artists of all time such as, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and George Strait, to name but a few.
A three-time Grammy and five-time Emmy nominee, Steve has penned more than 20 Top Ten country and pop hits, as well as a further nine chart-topping film tunes – the perfect person for Sam to start collaborating in the studio with!
Winning the X Factor in 2013, Sam’s hit single, Skyscraper, became the UK Christmas No.1. The following March, Sam’s album was released to high praise and later in 2014, she embarked on a solo sell-out tour. Sam’s been busy planning to take to the stage in award-winning Broadway and West End musical, CHICAGO when it goes on a UK-wide tour this year. With fans across the world eagerly awaiting new music, Sam’s new material cannot come soon enough. Sam is constantly inundated with praise and requests from her American fans to perform in the States, so getting back over to the US, is something she’s been keen to do for a while.
