Justin Bieber changed his life after getting a message from God.
The singer, once labelled a pop brat, has seemingly ditched his bad boy attitude recently and has stayed out of trouble with both the law and the press.
This is a far cry from his old antics, which included egging his neighbour's house and paying $80,000 in damages and being arrested for dangerous driving, among other incidents. Chatting to The Bert Show, Justin made the shocking revelation that it was a higher power who insisted he stopped with the destructive behaviour.
"God was telling me something," he admitted. "I am not going to go into detail of what I was doing and where I was at, but I was pretty lost and woke up one day and felt like God was telling me something.
"I'm not super religious or anything but I just heard a voice and was like, 'You know what? I'm going to change my life around. I'm going to switch up some things and put some stuff together'."
After hearing the message, the 21-year-old jumped on the phone to his manager Scooter Braun and told him they needed to fix the situation. However those expecting a completely clean-cut Justin can think again. While he's scaled back on breaking the law, he's not yet ready to turn his back on the party scene. Justin recently shared a snap of him kissing model Hailey Baldwin during a Caribbean holiday, and says drinking, partying and girls all fit into his new outlook.
"What's weird is I am a Christian, I am a believer and often people are too conservative and I don't think it's wrong," he explained. "I'm stumbling over my words right now because I don't want to offend anybody but I believe you can go and have a good time, get some drinks and enjoy yourself and can be with girls.
"Loving God is a separate thing. But I don't think you have to love God and not be able to go out and enjoy yourself."
